For your interest please note that at the upcoming 2004 EGU Assembly
Session in Nice, France, there will be a splinter meeting concerning
"International Cooperation in Education and Outreach" on Wednesday,
28 April 2004, 19:00 - 21:00, in Lecture Room: M4. For more reading
material about the topics to be covered during this splinter meeting
(e.g. "Jules Verne Network", "Improving the Quality of K-12 Education",

Preparations are well underway for the  AGU Chapman Conference on "SOLAR
ENERGETIC PLASMAS AND PARTICLES" to be held at the University of Turku,
Turku, Finland (August 2-6, 2004).   The conference organizers welcome
contributed papers (oral and poster) on all facets of coronal mass
ejections and solar energetic particles.  Details on abstract submission,

weeks! There are 38 invited speakers, including expert tutorials.

We cordially invite you to participate in one of the space weather
sessions to be held at the 43rd AIAA Aerospace Sciences Meeting and
Exhibit, from 10-15 January 2005 in Reno, Nevada.

Some sessions are being organized on space weather.  Papers are sought
from a broad range of topics including (but not limited to) the results
of satellite space weather experiments, modeling studies and environment
standards, remote sensing of the thermosphere, ionosphere, and lower
atmosphere, and Earth radiation budget investigations.  Upcoming and
on-going satellite space experiments with suites of sensors are of
particular interest.
